ABU DHABI – UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is set to begin an official visit to the Russian Federation on Thursday, underscoring the growing depth of bilateral relations between the two countries.

The visit comes within the framework of the UAE-Russia strategic partnership, which has expanded steadily across multiple sectors in recent years.

High-level talks are expected to address shared priorities aimed at supporting sustainable development and long-term cooperation.

During the visit, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will meet Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation. The discussions will focus on strengthening bilateral ties, with particular emphasis on economic cooperation, trade exchange, and investment opportunities. Both leaders are also expected to review collaboration in the energy sector, which remains a key pillar of the strategic partnership between Abu Dhabi and Moscow.
